Residents further benefit from food cooked and prepared by our highly regarded chef Sue. All meals are prepared on site, and both restaurant and in room dining services are available. Menus are frequently changed, and can be adjusted to cater for specific dietary requirements. Guests are welcome, and special occasions always celebrated! 

Activities

A regular programme of activities is available within our home, co-ordinated by our dedicated activities manager Donna.

Typical weekly activities include:

  • Coffee mornings

  • Bingo

  • Movie nights 

  • Regular quizzes

  • Board, group, outdoor and word games 

  • Visiting entertainers such as story tellers and dancers

  • Reading group

  • Group sing-a-longs with visiting singers

  • Gardening club

  • Daily exercises to aid independent mobility

In addition to our regular activities, residents also benefit from:

  • Summer fetes, Christmas and Easter celebrations

  • Pantomime visits 

  • Themed days, such as Hollywood and Western

  • Day trips such as to the local sea side

  • Visits from animal petting zoo

  • Garden parties

  • Raffle events

Residents can take part in as many activities as they wish and suggestions for future activities are welcomed.  We also encourage visitors and families to come down and join in our events.
